Monument for the Victory of Weigang Battle
On the morning of June 1st, 1938, General Su Yu led his team of soldiers to fight against the Japanese enemies in the west part of Zhenjiang and got great success. In memory of the victory of this battle, a monument was set up at the place where the battle took place. The Weigang battle was regarded as the beginning of the establishment of anti-Japanese base in south China.
